Wayne Harold Culbertson, son of Fred Lee and Oris (Miller) Culbertson, was born on March 4, 1942 in Shenandoah, Iowa. Wayne passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at the Shenandoah Medical Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. He was 73 years old.

Wayne grew up in Coin, Iowa. He attended school in Coin to the sixth grade. He worked for a nursery in Shenandoah for several years. He remained at home to enjoy the company of his parents. He moved to Shenandoah after his parents passed away.

Wayne enjoyed roller skating, cars, music, movies, good food, motorcycles, pets (especially his Dad's pet raccoons) and telling stories.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Fred (Jan. 2000) and Oris (Dec. 1994) Culbertson and brother Dale Culbertson.

Wayne is survived by his brothers Max Culbertson of Nemaha, Nebraska and Kenneth Culbertson of Red Oak, Iowa and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a good, kind hearted man who could see the good in everyone. He will be greatly missed.
