Wanitta Pratt, age 62, passed away November 18, 2012 at her home in Blanchard, Iowa.

Wanitta was born on September 23, 1950 in Bedford, Iowa. She spent her entire life in the Blanchard area.

Wanitta was a Certified Nurses Assistant for Elm Heights Care Center in Shenandoah.

Wanitta enjoyed taking road trips, going for walks, family get together, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends .

Wanitta was preceded in death by her son Wade Ugene Strange, mother Maxine Larson, brother Roy Hookham, and sister Jeanitta Brownfield.

Wanitta will be sadly missed by her son Gerald "Bucky" Strange of Blanchard, granddaughter Whitney Vannausdle and husband Bryan and their children Damion, Bailey, Conner of Villisca, siblings: Regina McBrian and husband Larry, Anthony "Bubby" Larson and wife Marty, Leslie "Biddy" Larson and wife Karen, Leonard "Hank" Larson and wife Lena, Rochell "Annie" Morris and husband Jerry, Rosalie "Jessie" Miller, Dianna Klee and husband Mark, Darryl "Duke" Larson and wife Terry, sister-in-law Peggy Hookham, very special niece Tina Carpenter, granddaughter Jessica Strange and her children Lilly and Bristal, grandson Anthony Strange, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
