Terry Edward Allely, son of Millard Faye and Ferrell Ruth (Waterworth) Allely, was born on February 5, 1946 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He passed away on December 11, 2015 at his home in Shenandoah, Iowa. He was 69 years old.

Terry spent his early life in Farragut where he attended the Farragut Community Schools. He graduated from Farragut High School with the class of 1964.

On November 4, 1964, Terry was united in marriage to Kathy Morelock in Shenandoah at St. Mary's Catholic Church. They resided in Shenandoah.

Terry started his working years with Brannens Grocery in Shenandoah, then Ready Mix in Shenandoah, Carbon Plant in Red Oak, State Line Oil in Braddyville, Texas Refinery Corporation, as a grease and oil salesman, Orkin Pest Control, and in 1971 owned Allely Pest Control. When Terry was not working he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Preceding Terry in death were his parents, Millard and Ferrell; step-father, Orin Mann; step-brother, Jerry Mann; father-in-law, Glenn Morelock; mother-in-law, Gerry Morelock; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Danielson.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Allely of Shenandoah; three children, Kelly McFarland and husband Wayne of Omaha, Nebraska, Rodney Allely and wife Teresa of Shenandoah, and Jason Allely and wife Sarah of Ft. Collins, Colorado; three grandchildren, Abby McFarland, Nick and Breanna Allely; great-granddaughter, Addison Allely; sister, Monica Tiemeyer and husband Roland of Shenandoah; brother, Ronnie Allely and wife Judy of Louisiana, Missouri; step-brother and sisters, Jim Mann and wife Colleen of Burlington Junction, Iowa, Jane Halbach of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Judy Jeska of Eldora, Iowa and Joan "Dee" Zander of Shenandoah; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa.
