Susie Ella Mae Hallam, daughter of William Thomas and Margaret Jane (Foley) Tuck, was born May 11, 1927 in Maryville, Missouri. She passed away on April 22, 2016 at Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. She was 88 years old.

Susie grew up in Tarkio and Maryville, Missouri area. She graduated from high school. On July 28, 1954 she was united in marriage to David Oliver Hallam in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

Susie worked at Kendalls Caf and the Tall Corn. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband David Hallam, children: Danny Hallam and Donna Peters, sisters: Evelyn Ratliff, Nina Tuck, Mandy Conn and Mary Hickman.

Susie is survived by her daughter Debra Hallam, grandson Brandon Hallam and wife Kendra, great-grandchildren Kenzlee and Cameron Hallam, brother Floyd Tuck and wife Macel all of Shenandoah, Iowa, numerous nieces, newphews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Burial of cremains will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.
