A fatal car accident resulted in the sudden passing of Scott Robert Livingston on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in Des Moines, Iowa.  Scott was the son of the late Dr. Bob Livingston and Susan Livingston who currently resides in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa at 11:00 a.m.  Memorials may be directed to the family.

Scott Robert Livingston was born on December 1, 1983 in Nebraska City, Nebraska, the middle child of Robert and Susan (Tillson) Livingston.  Scott's early years were spent in the Nebraska City community where he attended school.  The family later moved to Spirit Lake, Iowa and Scott graduated from Spirit Lake High School with the Class of 2002.  Following graduation he went on to attend the University of Iowa where he received his degree in 2006. He worked as a commercial pilot for many years.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Dr. Robert Livingston who passed away in 2012.  Those left to honor his memory include his mother Susan Livingston;  brother Andrew (Megan) Livingston and their children Samuel, Gabriel, Joseph, Maximilian, Maria, William, Cecilia Rose, Annelise, Nicholas, John, Magdelena and Wilhelmine; sister Molly (Brian) Shreves and their children Elliott and Dylan; other relative and friends.
