Ruby Ellen (Raymond) Foster was born on July 20, 1924 on a farm Southeast of Farragut, the daughter of Ruey Leland and Cora Ruth (Ferrell) Raymond. Ruby entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Elm Heights Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Ruby attended school in the Farragut area and graduated from Farragut High School with the Class of 1941. On July 22, 1950 she was united in marriage to Everett L. Foster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Everett, and brothers Bob and Dick Raymond.

Those left to honor her memory include her children Susan Foster, Rebecca "Becky" Foster, and Gregg Foster and wife Carolyn; step-son Michael Foster and wife Sherry; granddaughter Abby Foster; step-grandchildren Mark Foster and wife Kris and Katie Rush; nieces Debbie Dinsmore and husband Marlin , Judy Morgans and husband Jim and Pamela Roush and husband George; nephew Rusty Raymond and wife Mindy; other relatives and many friends.
