Rozella Kay Orme was born May 24th, 1946 in Shenandoah, Iowa and passed away on Saturday, January 30th, 2016. She was the oldest of 3 children of Max and Thelma Shadduck.

She has been a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school for many years. She attended the Shenandoah school system and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1964.

On June 14th, 1964 Rozella married Ronald Orme in Shenandoah, Iowa and briefly relocated to Omaha, Nebraska where Ronald was a journeyman Electrician and Rozella worked as a receptionist.

In the fall of 1965, Ronald and Rozella returned to Shenandoah to start their own electrical business. Rozella and Ronald had two children Todd and Teresa. When the kids got older, Rozella returned to school to pursue her life long desire to become a nurse. In 1984, she graduated from Iowa Western Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Rozella worked at several local medical facilities in Shenandoah before joining the Clarinda Mental Health Institute where she worked for 18 years prior to retiring on April 1st, 2011.

Rozella enjoyed spending time with her kids friends, grandchildren, friends of her grandchildren, and working in her flower gardens both in Shenandoah and Mesa, Arizona. Rozella was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver.

Rozella is preceded in death by her parents and sister Shirley May Brinks. Survivors include husband Ronald, Son Todd and wife Kristine, grandchildren Lindsey, Trevor, and Tyler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Daughter Teresa Orme and grandchild Trenton Turney of Shenandoah. Sister Sherlynn Shadduck-Barton and husband Mike of Nebraska City, Nebraska. Sister-in-law Nancy and husband Paul Ackley of Bedford, Iowa and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to donor choice.

Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa.
