Rose Mary Wright was born on October 1, 1951 in Hamburg, Iowa, the only child of John and Rose Mary (Minor) Wright. Rose Mary entered into the arms of the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2009 at her home in Omaha, Nebraska.

Rose Mary spent her early years on the family farm in Westboro. She attended school in both Westboro and Tarkio, Missouri. She was a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother.

Rose Mary had a heart of gold and was always willing to help out her family for friends whenever she was able. She enjoyed crocheting and made many scarves, hats, gloves, pot holders and blankets for her family and friends. She was also a wonderful cook, who enjoyed baking chocolate cake and cookies for the grandchildren. In recent years she had taken up scrap booking. She loved to get new pictures of her family and group them together in beautiful collages. She was a kind-hearted and down to earth woman who had much love to share with others.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Leona Arenas and husband Javier, Tina Dunlap, Jack Jerome, and Matthew Jerome; 10 grandchildren; her beloved dog Chico; other family and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Celebration of life memorial services were held on Saturday, July 11, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Word of comfort were given by Rev. JoAnne Johnson. Attending the memory register was Jadean Dunlap. Honorary casket bearers were Jack Jerome, Lexi Arenas, Javier Arenas, Miguel Fortoso, David Dunlap and her beloved dog, Chico. Inurnment was in the Center Grove Cemetery near Westboro, Missouri. The Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
