Robert Lynn Stotts was born on August 16, 1942 in Hamburg, Iowa, the son of Roy M. and Bertha M. (Loury) Stotts.  Bob entered into the arms of his Lord on August 3, 2022 at this home in Shenandoah at the age of 79 years.

Bob was raised in the Sidney community.  He attended Sidney Community Schools and graduated from Sidney High School with the Class of 1960.  After working various jobs, Bob entered law enforcement, working both at the Shenandoah Police Department and as a Page County Deputy. He retired from the force after 28 years.  He enjoyed following politics and current events and was a dedicated Biblical scholar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings Shirley, Ralph, Frank, and Mary. He is survived by his siblings Evelyn Pontious, Sue Cochran and Jack Stotts;  daughters Rhonda Stotts of Farragut, IA and Anne (Roger) Swanson of Colon, NE; grandchildren Nichole Nicholas, Sammy Jo Nicholas, Bubba Nicholas, Jordan Davis, and Caden Swanson; great-grandchildren JR, Ziva, Exavier, Davin, Carson, Kathryn, Makayla, Zoey, Kynna, and Belle; other relative and a host of friends.
