Bob passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the Fairfax Community Hospital or the Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
Robert Earl Christianson was born on December 21, 1938 in Shenandoah, IA. Robert entered into eternal peace on January 21, 2018 in Tarkio, Missouri at the age of 79.
Robert lived with his son Bobby and wife south of Shenandoah on his acreage for a period of time before entering into Tarkio Rehabilitation in December, 2017. Robert owned his own business in Shenandoah, Bob's Millwright Service for many years. Robert also drove for SWITA for a few years until he retired. Robert received many driving awards and accommodations during the time he was employed with SWITA. Robert was an avid gun collector and loved his American Flags. He was well known for his welding abilities in and around the community.
Robert was preceded in death by his father Leonard Christianson of Shenandoah, Iowa, his mother Beryl (Madison) Sheldon of Rogers, Arkansas, and his daughter Joanna Anderson of Shenandoah, Iowa.
Those left to honor his memory include his sister Joyce Ann Taylor and her husband Bill of Rogers, Arkansas; his son Robert L Christianson and wife Freida of Shenandoah, Iowa; his son Mark A. Christianson and wife Michelle of Humboldt, Iowa. His grandchildren; Jay Anderson and his wife Julie of Glenwood, Iowa; Valerie (Anderson) Coate and husband Tyson of Burlington Jct., Missouri; Nate Christianson and wife Tonya of Mesa, Arizona; Nick Christianson and wife Chelsea of Cypress, Texas; Blake Christianson and wife Kelly of Humboldt, Iowa; and Lauren Christianson of Humboldt, Iowa. His great grandchildren; Paige Schebaum of Shenandoah, Iowa; Brooke Myers of Burlington Jct., Missouri; Trace Coate of Burlington Jct., Missouri; Rhiana Coate of Burlington Jct., Missouri; Brielle Christianson of Mesa, Arizona, Caleb Christianson of Mesa, Arizona; Kash Christianson of Cypress, Texas; Kolbie Christianson of Cypress, Texas; and Kinley Christianson of Humboldt, Iowa.
