Patty entered into eternal peace on Tuesday evening, June 10, 2025 at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church.    Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.  The family will greet friends on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the family.

Patricia Lynn Kent was born on August 15, 1949 in Clarinda, Iowa, the daughter of Charles Elton and Phyllis Maxine (Mackerill).  She entered into eternal peace on June 10, 2025 in Omaha, Nebraska.  In true Patty style, in her final moments she was so excited to be reunited with her "Papa", which was her nickname for Max, that she asked "Why is this taking so long!"  Then a few hours later, she gave an eyeroll to her family and exclaimed "This is getting ridiculous!"  Not too long after, they were finally reunited.

Patty lived in Iowa until 1961 when the family moved to California.  The family returned to Iowa where she resided for the remainder of her days. Following graduation from Clarinda High School with the Class of 1968 she was united in marriage to Merle Falk, the couple later divorced.  On August 15, 1975 she was united in marriage to Max Lawrence Woerth.  The couple enjoyed 39 years of marriage before his passing.

Patty was a lifelong caretaker.  During her working years she was a candy striper, worked as a CNA, was a radiation technician, worked for 15 years at the Glenwood State School where she assisted the disabled, was employed with Senior Solutions at the Shenandoah Hospital,  was an aide at Elm Heights, worked at Wal-Mart and was an in home caregiver and companion to her clients, who were like family.  She was an active member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Guild, hosted BINGO at the local care centers, was a member of the Eagle's, where she enjoyed playing cards with the other "Ladies of the Round Table", and she volunteered at the hospital in the gift shop.

Max and Patty were inseparable.  Where one went, there was the other.  They enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, dancing and putting on fabulous Christmas Eve parties.  She also enjoyed playing Skipbo, going see the Cubbie's play baseball, spending time with the grandchildren, and cooking.  She had a wonderful collection of cookbooks and well over 586 turtles.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Phyllis Kent; grandchildren Samantha and Shawn Falk; and her beloved husband Max. Those left to cherish her memory include her children Michael (Robin) Falk of LaVista, NE, Brian (Julie) Falk of Shenandoah, IA and Lori (Reggie) LePorte also of Shenandoah, IA; grandchildren Anthony Falk of Arizona, Katelyn Johnson of Bellevue, NE, Seth Johnson of Shenandoah, IA, Natalie Johnson (Austin Shaffer) of Des Moines, IA and Leanna LePorte of Shenandoah, IA; sisters Cheryl Kent of Shenandoah, IA, Marlene (Sam) McGargill of Imogene, IA and Peggy Kent of Shenandoah, IA; numerous niece, nephews other relatives and a host of friends.  Patty was so excited for the arrival of her first great-grandchild who is due in July.
