Obituary

Patricia Lee (Walter) Barr, the daughter of Richard and Dorothy (Wolford) Walter, was born in Shenandoah, Iowa on March 14, 1953. She passed away in Tarkio, Missouri on January 23, 2017.

Pat attended school in Shenandoah, Iowa and graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1971. Pat attended a Business School in Lincoln, Nebraska and, after graduation, worked as a secretary in an insurance company in Lincoln for several years. Pat moved back to Shenandoah and worked for many years at the Earl May Nursery, Fareway Grocery, and at Walmart.

Pat married Tim Barr in 1985. Her son, Matthew Barr was born in 1988. Pat was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a member of PEO. She served on the board and very active in Relay For Life. Pat enjoyed crocheting, music, and traveling. Pat's greatest joy was being a part of any activity of her son, Matt's, family and friends. She spent many hours at the baseball field through the years watching Matt play baseball. And, any time spent with her grandchildren, Liam and Kegan was something that Pat treasured.
