Orville Dean Keep, age 90, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Homestead Assisted Living in Shenandoah, Iowa.  He was born August 19, 1935, in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Orville and Velma (Cox) Keep.

Orville graduated from Coin High School in 1953.  He was united in marriage to the love of his life Marilyn Beth Finlay on August 26, 1954, at Beth's parents' home in rural Coin.  Following their marriage they moved to Shenandoah.

Orville worked at Reads Mobil Station from 1954 to 1955, Tyler Bottling Company from 1956 to 1966 and Imperial Inc. from 1966 to 2000.  He held bookkeeping and accounting practices at these companies.  He was later promoted to Shenandoah plant manager and controller.

Orville was a member of Summit United Methodist Church where he was treasurer for many years.  He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and working on the farm.

Orville was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Beth, parents Orville and Velma Keep, sister Dollita Sharon Hall, brother Galen Douglas Keep and sister-in-law Beverly Jean White.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children Scott Lee Keep and wife Mary Ann of Omaha, Nebraska, Diane Sue Ryan and husband Sean of Omaha, Nebraska and Brent Wade Keep and wife Janel of Lee Summit, Missouri; grandchildren Seth David Keep and Paige Sydney Keep.  Also survived by his sisters Marita Horn, Joyce Baldock and husband Bob and Janice Lindburg and husband Mark, other family and friends.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Wabash Memorial Chapel in Shenandoah.  Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the Wabash Memorial Chapel in Shenandoah.  Burial of cremains to follow service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.  Memorials may be directed to Coin Fire and Rescue.
