Norma May Davis, daughter of James P. and Cynthia O. (Bullock) Anderson, was born on August 24, 1923 in Bendena, Kansas.  She passed away on October 18, 2023 in Shenandoah, Iowa at the age of 100 years, 2 months and 6 days.

Norma grew up in Kansas and Gravity, Iowa.  She graduated from Gravity High School with the class of 1941.

Norma married Richard S. Davis on December 10, 1949 in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Whitey" S. Davis, son Jim Davis, parents James and Cynthia Anderson and sisters Virginia, Mary and Marge.

Norma is survived by her son Don Davis and Cindy of Shenandoah, Iowa, granddaughter Jamie (Zach) Smiley of Council Bluffs, Iowa, great-granddaughters Este, Tatum and Gwen and great-great-grandsons Forest and Scout.

If one word could describe Norma it would be: Kindness.

Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.
