Norma A. Crew, age 86 of Shenandoah, Iowa passed away on Friday evening; September 19, 2008 at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah.

Norma was born on April 2, 1922 in Shenandoah, Iowa; the daughter of Guy Ole and Evelyn (Bussard) Baldwin. She attended school in Shenandoah and graduated with the Class of 1940. She was later united in marriage to Francis H. Crew. The couple lived in Iowa, Nebraska and Arizona until Norma's retirement from Pella Corporation in Pella, Iowa when they returned back home to Shenandoah.

Norma was a beloved wife and mother whose dedication to her family was immeasurable. She enjoyed caring for her yard and home. She always seemed to bake something delicious for family gatherings. She was very gifted in the kitchen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Francis, brothers; Riley, Lyle and Jack and a sister Mildred "Millie" Beck.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son Larry F. Crew of Pella, Iowa, a daughter Peggy Anne Crew Owen of Shenandoah, Iowa, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Norma's wishes her body has been cremated and no services will be held.
