Nora Elizabeth (Williams) Steinhoefel was born on March 10, 1936 in Trenton, Kentucky, the daughter of Charlie and Leary (Henderson) Williams.  Nora entered into eternal rest on July 8, 2021 in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Nora held various jobs throughout her life.  Prior to her retirement she was a dietary aide at Elm Heights Nursing Home in Shenandoah.  She created many lifelong friendships with those she worked with, including her "adopted daughter" Gayle Kennedy who cared for her in her final weeks.  Some of Nora's interests included cooking and baking, dancing, reading, keeping house, gardening and tending to her flowers.

Nora had a deep love for her family.  She was united in marriage to Robert J. Blank, Sr. on January 10, 1952.  The marriage was blessed with the birth of five children; Jimmy, Timothy, Michael, Robert "Joe" and Kathy.  The couple later divorced.  She later found happiness when she met Dale Steinhoefel and the couple was married on November 18, 1986.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale, her daughter Kathy Gearhart; and several siblings.  Those left to honor her memory include her children Jimmy Blank, Timothy Blank, Michael Blank and Robert "Joe" Blank; 5 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; several siblings, other relatives and a host of friends.
