Neola Irene "Ole" Wehrkamp was born on June 21, 1937 in Clarinda, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Leila (Shum) Wehrkamp.  Ole entered into eternal peace on December 2, 2020 at the Bartels Lutheran Retirement Community in Waverly, Iowa at the age of 83 years.

Growing up in Southwest Iowa Ole graduated from Clarinda High School with the Class of 1955.  Ole was a delightful soul and brought much joy to those who knew her.  She was a waitress at various local restaurants for 62 years (Kendall's Cafe and most recently Nishna Valley Cafe)  and was also the delightful presence behind the Soda Fountain at Jay Drug.  She was also a member of the First Christian Church.

Ole loved to wear bright colors and fashion jewelry.  Her smile would light up any room she graced.  Her tender spirit will be missed by all those whose lives she touched.
