Nancy Josephine Upp and Jeanne Elizabeth Lewis will be laid to rest Saturday, November 9 at 1:00 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Nancy Jo was born November 10, 1932 to Clare and Helen Upp. She graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1950 and took nurses training at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines on an American Cancer Society scholarship.

After practicing as Registered Nurses for several years, Nancy and Jeanne enrolled in the Barnes Hospital School of Anesthesia in St. Louis, MO., graduating in 1955. They operated their own anesthesia practice in the St Louis area for several y ears before moving to a ranch near Benson, AZ. Nancy operated her own tax preparation business in Tucson for several years.

Nancy Jo passed in 2010 of Multiple Myeloma. She is survived by one sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
