Nancy Ann (Lewis) Terrones was born on September 15, 1937 in Bedford, Iowa, the daughter of French "Toby" and Maymie Ardella (Shehan) Lewis. Nancy entered into eternal peace on Monday, May 14, 2012 at her home in Shenandoah, Iowa following an extended illness.

Nancy grew up in the Bedford community and spent most of her life in the area. In 1952, she was united in marriage to Frank Deardorff in Miami, Oklahoma. The couple was blessed with two daughters, but always had plenty of other kids around the house, that she affectionately referred to as her own.

She leaves behind her sisters, a brother, and many other friends who loved her very much. She was a kind-hearted woman who will be deeply missed.
