Mary Marjorie McKinnon was born October 8, 1919 to David and Harriett (Bast) Bussard in College Springs, IA. She passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Stanton Care Center in Stanton, IA. She was 95 years old.

Mary was united in marriage on October 7,1939 to Ivan "Skimmer" McKinnon. The couple had four children.

Mary worked at Mount Arbor Nursery. She loved to work in her garden. She enjoyed dancing. She love her family.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ivan, son-in-law Jim Huitt, grandsons Jeremy McKinnon and Patrick Huitt, and great grandson Michael McKinnon.

Mary is survived by her four children; Janet Huitt of Sioux Falls, SD, David McKinnon and wife Jan of Edgerton, WI, Larry McKinnon of Tarkio, MO, and Deanna Spangenberg and husband JE of Red Oak, IA. Mary had 12 grand children and 15 great grandchildren.
