Mary Louise (Alley, Wallin) Freberg of Omaha, Nebraska passed away January 6, 2017 at the age of 90. Mary was born January 31, 1926 in Shenandoah, Iowa to John and Zella Alley and lived in Shenandoah Rural Route One Fremont while growing up.

Mary graduated from Shenandoah, Iowa. She was employed with KMA Radio Station and Henry Field Nursery.

Mary was united in marriage to Robert Dale Freberg on June 18, 1958 in Tecumseh, Nebraska. They made their home in Shenandoah, Iowa until 1965 when Robert's job took them to Omaha, Nebraska to live.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents John and Zella Alley, husband Robert Freberg, son Jerry Wallin, great-grandson Blake K. Wallin, brother in law Clem Maher, brother and sister-in-law Eldon and Mary Freberg.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Lieber and husband Darrell of Omaha, NE, six grandchildren; John Lieber and wife Marilee of Omaha, NE, Corey Lieber and friend Nanci McCarty of Gretna, NE, Kelly Wallin of Baton Rouge, LA, Blake Wallin of Pattaya, Thailand, Darrin Lieber and wife Dawn of Omaha, NE and Cherry Gerst and husband Bruce of Omaha, NE, six great-grandchildren; Elisa Wallin and friend Josh Edgar of Baton Rouge, LA, Kelsi Wallin of Fort Collins, CO, Erik Wallin of Zachary, LA, Kelsye Lieber of Omaha, NE, Gage Lieber of Omaha, NE and Robert Gerst of Omaha, NE, three great-great grandchildren; Rylee Edgar, Jax. Edger and Victoria Leboeuf, sister; Laline Maher of Shenandoah, IA, brother; Don Freberg and wife Bev of Prairie Village, KS, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah.

Memorials may be directed to the Visiting Nurses Assoc. Hospice Care or Alzheimer's Dementia Assoc.

Burial of cremains will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.
