Margaret Edith Anderson, daughter of August and Lena (Peterson) Strom, was born on November 14, 1909 in rural Page County, Iowa. She passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. She was 105 years old.

She was raised with nine brothers and sisters on a farm near Essex, Iowa. She later moved to Essex until her marriage. On February 14, 1943 she married Delbert Anderson. They were married over fifty years.

Margaret was a life long member of the Fremont Covenant Church until its closing, then she joined Faith Covenant Church in Essex, Iowa.

Margaret loved gardening, her family, music, and the church. She served as church organist at Fremont Covenant Church for several decades.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delbert, sons Barton and Timothy Anderson, and all nine of her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her one daughter Kathleen Landin and husband Curtis of Arlington Heights, Illinois, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to Faith Covenant Church of Essex, Iowa.

Burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery in Nyman, Iowa.
