Lois M. Kiper the daughter of Paul Luther Lanee' and Lillie Cecilia Falk Ecklof was born on August 2, 1929, at home near Coburg, Iowa. Lois lived her early life on her grandfathers farm for her first eighteen years. She attended and graduated from Essex High School in 1945. She was married to Lysle M. Kiper to this union were Connie, Susie, Cheryl and Greg. Lois passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa at the age of 86. Some of Lois interest were, antiques, collecting Fenton glassware, Carnival glassware, cooking, canning and baking.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Lysle, daughter Connie Gomel, son Greg Kiper; grandchildren, Timothy Gomel, Trevor McIntyre and David Kiper; siblings, Elmer Falk, Lillian Shumard, Louise Lassen, Marvin Falk, Kenneth Falk, Ruth Falk as an infant, and Ernest Falk.

Survivors include, her daughters, Cheryl McIntyre, and Susie Erhart; siblings, Dorothy Hall and Junior Falk; grandchildren, Michelle Kirby-Keeler, Tiffani Bredberg, Jason, Jeremy and Justin Shadel, Shannon Duchame, and Brandon Gomel; great grandchildren, Dani Stogdill, Jordan Mick, Kaitlyn Kirby, Haylee Walters-Gomel and Rayder Lee Gomel; other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to the family.

Burial was held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.
