Linda Lee Gonzales was born on August 22, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska, to French "Toby" and Mamie Ardella (Shehan) Lewis.  The family resided in Omaha until she was 6 months old when they moved to Bedford, Iowa.  It was in this community in which she was raised and attended school.

On June 9, 1962 she was united in marriage to Carol D. Gibson.   The couple later divorced and on February 3, 1968 she was married to Joseph Gonzales.   Linda was blessed with 9 children; Betty, Roger, Carl, Carol, Bernice, Connie, James, Candice and Adam.   The family lived in Shenandoah before moving to Texas until Joseph's untimely passing.  Linda and her children then moved back to Iowa to be closer to her family.    For 11 years Linda served as a Girl Scout Leader.  She was blessed with many wonderful memories of the girls that she worked with.  Linda was a talented seamstress, crafter, and loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Joseph on April 6, 1976, sisters Bobbi and Nancy; brother John and brother-in-law David.

Those left to cherish her memory include her children; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
