Kenneth Dean Terry , Sr. the son of Donald and Wilma Hockman Terry, was born on August 20, 1936 at Braddyville, Iowa and passed away on February 14, 2007 at Midlands Hospital at Papillion, Nebraska.
Kenneth lived in Braddyville until the age of two, then moved with his family to Jamison, Missouri where he attended grade school, later attending high school at Oregon, Missouri. Kenneth spent most of his life in Southwest Iowa and the Mesa, Arizona areas. He had been employed by Lisles Corporation in Clarinda and was a self employed roofer.
Kenneth played the banjo, guitar and harmonica. He loved to sing and play his music and had played with several bands. He collected radios and pocket watches. He enjoyed getting on the computer and talking to his children and other relatives.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father Donald Terry in 1977. Survivors include his children, Michael Scott of Mesa, AZ, Steve Scott of Mesa, AZ, Kenneth Dean Terry, Jr. of Laramie, WY, Julie Muetzel of Des Moines, IA, Donald Terry of Queen Creek, AZ, Robert Terry of Winterset, IA, Lori Akers of Mesa, AZ, John Terry of Marion, IA; his mother Wilma Terry of Shenandoah, IA; his brothers and sisters, Donna Haddenham of Laramie, WY, Darrell L. Terry of Buffalo, TX, Keith E. Terry of Essex, IA, Shirley Ann Kragel of Alcester, SD, Lyle Terry of Red Oak, IA, Diana Jones of Essex, IA, Jim Terry of Shenandoah, IA, David Terry of Farragut, IA, Kim Terry of Shenandoah, IA; fourteen grandchildren; Kenneth's special friend and companion Janice Illingworth of Shenandoah, Iowa.
