Kenneth Orville Falk, son of Paul L. and Lillie C. (Ecklof) Falk, was born on May 20, 1934 on the family farm northeast of Essex, Iowa, where his father was born. Kenny entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at the age of 75.
The youngest of ten children, Kenny attended country school until moving into Essex in 1945, where he attended the Essex Community School. Kenny remained at home with his mother following his father's death in 1954.
In November of 1966, Kenny was united in marriage to Grace Keller. Following their marriage they moved to Shenandoah. Grace and Kenny never had any children together though Grace had four children and several grandchildren who adopted and loved Kenny as their own. Grace passed away in June of 2002.
Kenny worked at Mount Arbor Nurseries in Shenandoah until their closing. After they closed he mowed yards and shoveled snow for several people and businesses around Shenandoah. After his health wouldn't allow him to work any longer his time was devoted to taking care of and loving his cat, Tiger. He also enjoyed walking around downtown Shenandoah visiting with different people.
Kenny was baptized and confirmed in the Essex Covenant Church. In later years he attended the Faith Christian Church in Shenandoah. Kenny moved to Garden View Care Center in November of 2005.
Preceding Kenny in death were his parents, Paul and Lillie; wife, Grace; three brothers, Elmer, Ernest and Marvin Falk; and three sisters, Lillian Shumard, Louise Lassen and Ruth Falk.
