Kenneth Wayne Cooper, son of Milo and Etna (McDowell) Cooper, was born on February 13, 1937 in Iowa City Iowa. He entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Shenandoah Medical Center in Shenandoah, Iowa, at the age of 76.
Kenneth grew up in Shenandoah and following high school moved to southern California. On October 22, 1955, Kenneth was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Gery in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following their marriage they resided in La Puente, California. To this union two sons were born, Steven and Jerry. They later moved to Henderson, Nevada, where Kenneth worked as a machinist. Upon retirement, they moved back to the Shenandoah/ Essex, Iowa area.
Preceding Kenneth in death were his wife, Barbara; parents; and his son, Steven Cooper. Survivors include his son, Jerry Cooper and wife Cathy of Nevada; and grandson, David Cooper and wife Anna of Wyoming; two step grandchildren, Dallas Webb and Stacey Lippold, both of Texas; great granddaughter, Lillian Cooper of Wyoming; two step great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
