Katherine "Kathy" Coodey, age 67, entered into eternal peace on November 23, 2011 at Shenandoah Medical Center.

Kathy was born December 16, 1943 in Sacramento, California to Jesse Joseph Lloyd and Aveia Ragsdale. She married Walter Lee Coodey, II on April 28, 1980.

During her working years she was employed by Yellow Cab as a taxi driver, a job she really enjoyed. Kathy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shenandaoh, Iowa. She loved collecting figurines of angels and cooking for family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

Kathy was preceded in death by a step-son; William George Coodey.

Kathy is survived by sons; Richard Lee Trenkamp and wife Michille, Michael Scott Trenkamp, Kenneth Allan Trenkamp, and John Douglas Gregory, step-son; Walter L. Coodey, III and wife Connie, step-daughter; Lavena Louise Bonafield and husband Jeffery, fifteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
