Julie Ann Malmberg was born on January 28, 1969 in Shenandoah, IA, the daughter of Ronald Wayne and Colene Kay (Ahrens) Malmberg. Julie entered into the arms of the Lord on April 5, 2009.
Julie was raised in the Shenandoah community where she attended school and graduated from Shenandoah High School with the Class of 1987. Following high school she attended Northwest Missouri State University and later transferred to the University of North Carolina where she graduated with a degree in Human Resources. After graduating from college she continued to live in North Carolina and later moved to New Jersey. She then returned back to Shenandoah to be closer to her loving family.
Julie worked as a Human Resource professional in a number of industries including healthcare, computers and banking. Her most rewarding job, however, was that of being a mother.
She devoted her life to the care and well being of her four beautiful children. Being a mother, raising two sets of twins was quite challenging, but with the support of her family, friends, church and community she managed to do quite well. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, caring for her pets and watching movies. She also collected Precious Moments and Coca Cola items.
She was preceded in death by her mother Colene and grandparents; Harold and Hazel Malmberg and Milton and Edna Ahrens.
Those left to honor her memory include her precious children; Hunter, Dalton, Dylan and Heidi Kellogg; father Ron Malmberg and wife Diana of Shenandoah; twin brother Jeff Malmberg and wife Amy of Denver, CO; sisters Patty Throne and husband Steve of Omaha, NE and Rhonda Elming and husband Mark of Johnston, IA; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
