Constance Joan (Rima) Inman was born on December 19, 1935 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the daughter of Clinton and Esther (Dunn) Rima. Joan entered into the arms of her Lord on Sunday afternoon, November 14, 2010 at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Joan's early years were spent in the Shenandoah area. The family also lived in Fairfax, Missouri and Stanton before moving back to Shenandoah. Joan graduated from Shenandoah High School with the Class of 1954.

On June 22, 1957 she was united in marriage to Philip Inman at the Shenandoah Assembly of God Church. The couple resided on a farm in Fairfax, Missouri. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. When she wasn't busy tending to the needs of her family she worked as a housekeeper at Hand Hospital and later at the Days Inn.

She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's sporting events. She also enjoyed watching college girls basketball, NASCAR, and rooting on whatever team Brett Farve happened to be playing football for.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Philip of Shenandoah; sons Allen Inman and wife Tana of Loveland, CO and Craig Inman and wife Tammy of Shenandoah; daughter Connie and husband Bob of Essex, IA; grandchildren Chris, Brandon, Amber, Jory, Deven, Kalob, Tana, Tiffany, and Jasmine; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters Dawn Ella and Mary Ann; niece Shelly Basch; nephews Kelly, Michael and Brian; other family and many dear friends.
