Jessica Marie Hardin, daughter of Rebecca Diane (Poe) and Joseph Keith Hardin was born on February 12, 1990 in Adams County Hospital in Corning, Iowa. Jessica entered into eternal peace on October 12, 2008 at the Shenandoah Medical Center at the young age of 18 years.
Jessica and her family moved to California when she was a baby. After her mother's passing when she was 2 years old, she went to live with her maternal grandparents. In her younger years she enjoyed riding horses, taking boat rides, and swimming. When she was 13 Jessica and her sister Ashley moved to Alabama, so they could be near their father. She had recently been reunited with her loving family in Shenandoah.
Those left to cherish her memory include her father Keith Hardin, sister Ashley Hardin, grandparents Roberta and Gary Taylor and Linda Snider, great-grandmother Betty Taylor, uncles Kevin Poe, Brian Poe, Gary Taylor and Michael Taylor; numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Rebecca Hardin in 1992, an aunt Julie Jones, cousin Daniel Jones, grandfather Earvin Poe, great-grandparents Earnest and Eva Runyon and Eldon Taylor and cousin Dennis Rogers.
Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday; October 16, 2008 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Langley officiating. Special music for the service include "Angel's In Waiting" and "Jesus Take The Wheel". Additional funeral services will be held in Albertville, Alabama early next week with burial following in the Friendship Cemetery in Arb, Alabama.
