Jeffrey Alan Stogdill, son of Carl Clifford and Donna Lou (Jurgens) Stogdill, was born on September 9, 1957 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He entered into rest on Thursday, April 24, 2014 in Shenandoah, Iowa at the age of 56 years, 7 months, 15 days.
His early years were spent growing up in Glenwood, Iowa where he received his education in the Glenwood Community Schools. He also spent much time in Imogene, Iowa, where he eventually settled as an adult.
On February 26, 1982, Jeffrey was united in marriage to Elizabeth Martin in Shenandoah. Through the years, Jeffrey worked at the SA Convenience Store, Town N Country and Emerald Isle in Imogene. He last worked for Americana in Shenandoah along with a number of other labor jobs.
In his spare time, Jeffrey loved to fish, especially with his grandson. He also liked watching sports, especially his favorite teams, the Washington Redskins, the Boston Celtics and the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed telling jokes, playing cards, spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and drinking a cold one.
Preceding Jeffrey in death were his father, Carl; nephew, Bobby Reafleng; many aunts, uncles and friends. Survivors include his mother, Donna Stogdill of Shenandoah; three daughters, Candace Pablo and husband Rafael of Shenandoah, Tina Stogdill of Omaha, NE, and Samantha Stogdill of Shenandoah; four grandchildren, Anthony, Olivia and Julianna Stogdill and Bentley O'Dell; sister, Melanie Reafleng and husband Randy of Farragut; brother, Randy Stogdill of St. Joseph, MO; ex-wife and friend, Elizabeth Cisneros of Shenandoah; nephew, James Reafleng of Shenandoah; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Memorials are being directed to the family. The funeral home will be open beginning at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday for those who wish to sign the book before the visitation.
