Ivan Glen Falk, 82, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2005, at the Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. Memorial graveside services were held for both he and his wife Reva on Saturday, April 21, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at the Essex Cemetery. Military rites were accorded by the Weatherall-Hadden-Holmes American Legion Post #333 of Essex for Ivan as a veteran of WWII.

Ivan was born on March 1, 1923, in Essex, Iowa to Lowell and Lillian (Lindburg) Falk. He graduated from Essex High School with the Class of 1940. He served in the United States Army Air Corp and was honorably discharged in 1945. Ivan met his future wife at the age of four while attending Sunday School at the the Bethesda, Iowa, Lutheran Church. Ivan married Reva Larson on June 24, 1944. Following Ivan's military service, the Falks lived in Clarinda and Essex, Iowa. They later moved to Columbus, Nebraska in 1965 and to Tucson in 1978.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darrell Falk. Survivors include his son, Ron Falk and his wife Connie of Columbus, NE; daughter, Carol Falk and Lee Westfall of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Darin Falk and his wife Lindsay of Gainesville, FL, and Bryan Falk of Naples, FL; along with many extended family and friends.
