Carl Harold Rosenquist, age 90 passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Golden Living Care Center in Maryville, Missouri. Harold was born in Page County, Iowa on May 7, 1920, the son of Carl Henning and Josephine (Swanson) Rosenquist.
Harold attended school in Coburg and Essex High School. On August 21, 1942 he enlisted in the United States Army where he served his country with pride until he was honorably discharged on August 18, 1944. He farmed in Southwest Iowa for most of his life. He was also a skilled hunter, fisherman and dog trainer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons Charles and Steven.
Those left to honor his memory include his three daughters, Pamela Roush and husband George, Judith Morgans and husband James and Marta Rosenquist all of Council Bluffs, Iowa; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Allen of Farragut; brother, Forrest Rosenquist of Shenandoah; several nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Veteran's Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Shenandoah c/o the American Legion Post #88.
