Gordon Leonard Lundgren, son of Leonard and Hazel (Johnson) Lundgren, was born on August 10, 1951, in Shenandoah, IA, and passed away on June 6, 2017, with his loving wife by his side.

Gordon graduated from Clarinda High School in 1970. Gordon married Shirley Ann Edgar on March 5, 1977, at the Fremont Covenant Church near Essex, IA. They made their home and raised their family in Shenandoah, IA.

Gordon proudly worked at the Pella Shenandoah Plant for the past 25 years. He enjoyed boating, traveling, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. Nothing made Gordon happier than time spent with family and friends. An avid sports fan, Gordon will be missed deeply for his sense of humor, big heart, and unwavering love.

Gordon was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Shirley; their children, Kristen Kaminski (Joe) of Liberty, MO, and Craig Lundgren (Jenne) of Denver, CO; four grandchildren, Lexi & Madison Kaminski and Brooklyn & Landon Lundgren; five siblings, Gary, Gene (Brenda), Gaylen (Barb), Glenda Johnson (Steve), and Gerard (Nanette); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends

Celebration of life funeral service will be held 10:30 am, Monday, June 12, 2017 at the First Presbyterian Church in Shenandoah.

Visitation with the family will be held from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm, Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah.

Burial will be held at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah.
