Faustina passed away on Thursday morning, June 30, 2011 at the Elm Heights Care Center.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. followed by visitation with the family.

Faustina Delores McGinnis was born on January 29, 1921 in Imogene, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Lynch) McGinnis. Faustina entered into eternal peace on Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Faustina's early life was spent growing up on farms in the Imogene area. She attended St. Patrick's School. Later the family moved to a farm in the Villisca area, where she graduated from Villisca High School with the Class of 1938.

She was employed by Iowa Power and Light for many years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Regina's Guild and Iowa Power Employees Retirement Group.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Mary McGinnis and siblings and their spouses John, E. J. "Bud", Louis, Arthur, Alice, Mildred, and Marcella's husband Joe. She is survived by her sister Marcella Ryan and many nieces and nephews.
