Eugene Henry Huseman, age 87, entered eternal life on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. He was born in Yorktown, Iowa on December 23, 1922, the son of the late Otto J. and Florence (Stephens) Huseman. On September 29, 1946, Gene married his loving wife, L. Blythe Snodgrass. He also served his country honorably in the Air Force during World War II.

Gene loved gardening, hunting, fishing, music, dancing and skating. He worked for the Ford Motor Company in Shenandoah and then moved to Indiana where he worked on light industrial equipment. Gene and Blythe retired to Arkansas and then Wisconsin.

Gene is survived by his two daughters, Sheila (Richard) Erck of Greenville, WI, and Cynthia Lynn of Ft. Wayne, IN; five grandchildren; nine grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Gene was preceded in death by brothers: Wayne (Ora) Huseman, Kenneth Huseman, both of Shenandoah, Iowa; sisters: Louise Gilbert of
Shenandoah, Iowa, and Mary K. (John) Dixon of Des Moines, Iowa.
