A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Farragut. There is no scheduled visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Farragut United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in the Farragut Cemetery.
Elizabeth A. Lorimor, daughter of Edward and Nellie (Cox) Barton, was born on February 2, 1917, in Farragut, Iowa. Elizabeth married Scott Lorimor on August 20, 1939 in Farragut. She passed away on Friday, September 21, 2007, at Martin Health Care Center in Bloomington, Illinois, at the age of 90.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Scott, on July 24, 2003. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Meltzer and husband Bill of Salem, Oregon, Sheryl Barnes and husband Loren of Springfield, Illinois; one son, Randall Lorimor and wife Cindy of Carlock, Illinois; other relatives and many friends.
