Donna Roseanne Koger, 49, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2006, at her home in Shenandoah, Iowa. Born on October 12, 1957, in Maryville, Missouri, she was raised by her mother, Helen Vada Allen and step-father, Vernon Snow in the northwest Missouri communities of Westboro and Tarkio.
She received her education in the Tarkio Community School District. On July 22, 1993, Donna was united in marriage to Ronnie Lynn Koger at the Faith Christian Fellowship Church in Shenandoah. Donna enjoyed playing Sega, doing word search, talking to people she knew and listening to music. Another favorite was collecting angels.
Preceding Donna in death were her mother, Helen Vada Snow: step-father, Vernon Snow; daughter Crystal Van; and two infant brothers. Survivors include her husband Ron Koger of Shenandoah, Iowa; sisters Mary Hudson of Rock Port, Missouri, Kay Petterson of South Carolina, and Twila Jean Brownfield of Maryville, Missouri; brother Terry Wyers of Pickering, Missouri; daughters, Monica Ware of Clarinda, Iowa and D.J. Ware of Shenandoah, Iowa; three grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Graveside memorial services following cremation were held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2006, at the Oak Grove Cemetery at Clarinda, Iowa. The Rev. Rick Sleyster gave the words of comfort. The Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
