Donald passed away on Wednesday afternoon, August 24, 2011 at the Nebraska Medical Center. The family will greet friends and family with visitation and viewing at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 1. Cremation will follow the visitation and graveside memorial services with military honors will be held at a later date at Center Grove Cemetery, Westboro, Missouri.

Survivors include his daughter, Karen Woods; grandson, Bill Woods and wife Shari; granddaughter, Cori Woods; other relatives and friends. Memorials are being directed to the family.
