Dona Rae Brownfield, the daughter of Frank Edward Hart and Mabel Marie Callahan Hart, was born in Pickering, Missouri, on September 23, 1940 and passed away on September 8, 2006 in Shenandoah, Iowa.

Dona lived in Missouri, Kansas and Iowa. She graduated from Shenandoah High School in 1958. On August 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Albert Olen Brownfield and after their marriage they made their home in Sidney, Iowa. Dona was a loving mother and wife for her husband and four children. Along with being a homemaker she worked for Walter Drake mail order catalog in Colorado Springs, CO. where she and her family resided. Dona was a member of the Tarkio Coin Collector's Club. In Colorado Springs she was a member of the Antique Auto Club of America, Pikes Peak Sports Car Club, and Porsche Club of America. She loved her family along with photography, birds, gardening and animals.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter Heidi Renee Keihani, and a grandson Jeremy Charles McMullen. Survivors include her loving husband, Albert O. Brownfield; a daughter, Cynthia L. McMullen and husband Charles; two sons, Edward O. Brownfield and wife Suzanne and Damon Scott Brownfield all of Colorado Springs, CO.; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving is an aunt Lola Calfee of Shenandoah, Iowa along with extended loving family and friends.

Celebration of life memorial services were held on Monday, September 11, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home in Shenandoah. Words of comfort were given by the Rev. Karen Bash. Musical selections were "There You Will Be", "Make Me A Channel Of Your Peace", "Wind Beneath My Wings" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". Inurnment was in the Blanchard Cemetery at Blanchard, Iowa. The Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
