Denise Marie Conners was born to Vincent "Pete" dePaul Conners and Norma Jean (Darst) Conners on January 21, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska and was the only daughter of their three children. Marie passed away at her home in Dallas, Texas on May 17, 2017 surrounded by her son, husband, and step-son. She was 70 years old.
Marie married Andy Lavigne in 1999 and was an Executive Director at the Dallas Market Center for 25 years. Marie's passions were fashion, animals, and her beloved friends and family. The daughter of a highly decorated WWII veteran, Marie lived her happy and adventurous childhood state bound and overseas, including Germany and Thailand.
Marie is survived by her husband, Andy Lavigne; children, Michelle and Chris; brothers, Jerry and Tom; and three grandchildren, Tate, Sasha, and Finn. She is preceded in death by her father and mother.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Imogene.
Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm, Friday, June 16, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Imogene; followed by visitation with the family until 7:30pm.
Burial will be held at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Imogene.
