Darwin Buford Farrell, 86, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Westridge Care and Rehab in Clarinda, Iowa. Darwin was known as the "Candyman" as he used to be a candy distributor in the southwest Iowa region. Darwin was preceded in death by his wife Jean in 1994. Local relatives include his daughter, Rosie Stark and her husband Greg of Essex. Also surviving is his son, Larry Farrell and his wife Rae of Ramsay, MT; along with other relatives and friends. No services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Memory Cemetery near New Market at a later date.
