Carrie Sue (Meadows) Turnbull, was born on February 7, 1957 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Betty Meadows. Carrie entered into eternal peace on December 3, 2013 surrounded by her loving family in Essex, Iowa, following a brief battle with cancer.

Carrie was part of a military family, who traveled extensively during her younger years. Carrie completed her Certified Nurses Aide Training and worked in the early 80's and 90's at various care facilities in Southwest Iowa.

Some of her hobbies included playing cards with friends, cross stitching, watching movies and spending time with her family. She was a hard working and loving mother, who cared greatly for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Lisa McAnlly, Marcella Mutchler and Carrie Arnold; a son Alfred Mutchler; grandchildren Hayley, Anthony, Kirsten, Samantha, Andrew and Havyn Arnold, Devon Gardner and Jessica, Damian and Izzy Mutchler; and one great-great grandchild arriving soon.
