Cambra Leigh (Green) Scott was born on October 12, 1977 in Nevada, Missouri, the daughter of Lester A. and Debora A. (Goodwin) Green. Cammi entered into eternal peace on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Springfield, Missouri.

Cammi attended high school in Bronaugh, Missouri and graduated in 1996. She attended Fort Scott Community College on a Band/Vocal Scholarship where she loved being part of the choral and dance troupe that traveled and put on shows. She loved learning and was always striving to further her education even while working and being a busy wife and mother. She was instrumental in forming a 4-State Chapter of The Certified Medical Transcriptionist and served the organization as President several times. She had recently received her degree in Medical Information Management. She had recently been employed at the Shenandoah Medical Center.

Cammi loved children of all ages! She taught Sunday School and was involved with various church youth groups. Even as a child, her family remembers her as being a "mother hen", always taking care of the little ones.

Her greatest joy in life was being a wife and mother. She loved her church, had a deep faith in the Lord and was always there for anyone in need. She enjoyed quilting, cooking and crafting.

Preceding her in death were her infant children Jax and Dalanie Hope; grandfathers Robert Goodwin and Howard Green and grandmother Jimmie Goodwin. Those left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband John; son Duke; step-son Justin (Hope) Scott; step-daughter Bobbie (Shawn) Retzloff; parents Les and Debbie Green; brother Jess (Carrie) Green; sister Suzanne (Jeremiah) Kaslon; mother and father in-law Richard and Phyllis Scott; sisters-in-laws Carol Carver and Diane (Rod) Carpenter; step-grandchildren Kighlynn, Jaelynn, and Kaisen Scott and Jayson, Gunner and Sydney Retzloff; many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
