Byron Eugene Rohrer, age 46, passed away November 6, 2012 at his home.
Byron Eugene Rohrer was born on September 4, 1966 in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Franklin and Connie (Joslyn) Rohrer. Byron entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.
Byron attended school in Villisca. On August 19, 1989, he was united in marriage to Mamie Jean Jackson at the Rose Garden in Shenandoah, Iowa. The couple made their home in Shenandoah.
Byron worked for Mt. Arbor Nursery's, FH welding, farmed for Dean Maher, and had his own salvage business. He was a member of Eagles Club #3849. Byron had many hobbies including hunting, fishing and yard work. He loved playing with his dog K.C., and visiting with friends.
Byron was preceded in death by his father Franklin Byron Rohrer; sister Kelly Jo Rohrer, grandparents Art and Harriet Turnbull and Marion and Gloria Joslyn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Mamie Rohrer of Shenandoah, mother Connie Rohrer of Shenandoah, Uncle Benny Joslyn of Shenandoah, sister Melinda Baldwin and husband Kenny of Villisca, mother and father-in-law Larry and Marylin Jackson, brother-in-law Larry and wife Lori Jackson, sisters-in-law Stephanie Phipps and husband Ronnie and Betty Jackson and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
