Betty Lou Hendrickson, daughter of Victor and Ebba (Newberg) Meng was born on October 30, 1930 in Red Oak, Iowa. She passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 83.

Betty was born and raised in Red Oak, Iowa. She graduated from the Red Oak High School. She was united in marriage to Earl Hendrickson on May 29, 1949. After their marriage they resided in Red Oak and Essex, Iowa.

Betty worked for Royal Cleaners and Mae Farmers. She enjoyed playing golf and gardening flowers.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Ebba Meng, and her sister Patricia Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Earl Hendrickson of Essex, Iowa, daughter Debra Mugge and husband Curt of Gaithersburg, Maryland, son Randy Hendrickson of Des Moines, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
