Barbara Ann Cooper, daughter of Wilson P. and Arlene M. (Weller) Gery, was born on March 22, 1939 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. She entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 7, 2011 following an extended illness with her family at her side at the Elm Heights Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa. She was 72.
On October 22, 1955, Barbara was united in marriage to Kenneth W. Cooper in Las Vegas, Nevada. Following their marriage they resided in La Puente, California. To this union two sons were born, Steven and Jerry.
Barbara worked as an office controller for Livingston-Graham Construction for 26 years. She last worked for RMI Concrete before retiring in 1999.
Preceding Barbara in death were her parents; and her son, Steven Cooper. Survivors include her loving husband, Kenneth Cooper of Essex, Iowa; son, Jerry Cooper of Las Vegas, Nevada; and grandson, David Cooper of Cheyenne, Wyoming; other relatives and friends.
