Ardel E. Bueker was born on June 8, 1942 in Boonville, MO, the son of Emil and Ella (Higgins) Bueker.  Ardel entered into eternal peace on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah, Iowa.

His early years were spent in the community of Oakland, Iowa where he attended school.  Ardel's father died at a young age and Ardel had to leave school and seek employment in order to help the family.  Ardel was the oldest of the family, followed by his brothers Arthur and Gerald.  When his mother remarried, another brother Ronnie Hansen was born.  The boys remained close their entire lives.

During his working years Ardel was a laborer for Mount Arbor and Lakes Nurseries.  He was a valuable asset to the Shenandoah Mustang sports program, where he loved to volunteer his time.    He enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and earned many medals and ribbons in various track events.  If there was live music in town, you could bet that Ardel would be one of the first ones in the door.   He enjoyed playing his harmonica and tambourine alongside the musicians, who quickly became his friends.  He was also known to have some pretty good dance moves when his  favorite tunes, "Johnny B Goode" and "Mustang Sally" came on.  He also was an avid fan of the Kansas Chiefs football team.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  Those left to honor his memory include his brothers Arthur, Gerald and Ronnie; many good friends and other relatives.
