Annabelle Longstreet, a creative, beautiful, and funny woman. Loving wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt, and friend, passed away on August 10th, 2014. She was 71.
Born in 1943, in the town of Bryan Ohio, to the parents of John Musser and Mary "Mae" (Omasta) Bunting. Annie grew up along with four siblings and attended Bryan High School. She moved to the city of Ft. Wayne, Indiana and worked for Magnavox corporation before moving to Georgia, where she met her future husband, Captain John K. Longstreet. Annie and John were married on April 22, 1972, in an outdoors ceremony Ft. Stewart, Georgia.
Annie and John lived in many states after military life. McMinnville, Oregon, Faribault, MN, Washington, North Carolina, and Gowen, Michigan before settling back in John's home town of Shenandoah Iowa.
Annie had touched the hearts of many through out her life, with her laughter, her funny stories, and her way of making you feel like you were the most important thing in her world right at the moment you were talking to her. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Annie is survived by her husband John K. Longstreet. Her daughter Stephanie Albacete and Spouse Avia Albacete, Her Son Toby Longstreet and Spouse Amie Harpe Longstreet, her beloved dog Mikey, her brother Joe Omasta (Pat), Huntington, W.Va., her sisters Darlene Hamet (Kenny), Defiance, OH, Sandy Unger of Ft. Wayne, IN, and Cathy Walker (Steve) of Defiance Ohio, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, numerous friends and furry friends.
In respect of her final wishes, there will be no service, but she asked that you all go and celebrate her life in your own way along with your families and friends. Tell your "Annie"stories and know she is with you all.
